Does that mean everyone else becomes uncivilized? Inhuman. Did I say everyone? I don't think so... Again... you read what you want to read into my posts.. There are going to be stragglers and leaders for decades or even centuries... that did not make the stragglers inhuman. Like the S. Koreans? Like India? Like Turkey? Like so many other societies who have even less of a history of independence than most Arab states? There's just no excuse for the lack of social progress in the region, especially when other societies have been able to make such a change. Listen Arun.. We've permitted the Arabs/muslims states to get a free ride for far too long when it comes to modernizing their political and economic systems. And our negligence towards pushing them to make these changes came back and bit us in the @ss on 9/11. And now the problem is exacerbated by the FACT that between 40 and 50% of the Arab population is currently under the age of 18 and without a decent hope in the world of living above the poverty level. Maybe the word fascist should be applied here for your thoughts... Yeah... you don't even want me to tell you some of the words I'm applying to your thoughts right now... ;0)
