Ten Questions for John Kerry
by Roger Burdick Tuesday, May 11, 2004
Senator Kerry, since you can’t campaign for yourself and must rely on the bias of the mainstream liberal media and senile Ted Kennedy to do your campaigning for you, I have some questions I would like for you to answer.
1. A simple yes or no question. Was 9-11-01 an act of war against the United States? If yes, then why is the war on global terrorism unjust? If it wasn’t an act of war against us, what was it, and what plan do you have for going to foreign countries and bringing terrorists to justice?
2. You have repeatedly claimed that Iraq is a quagmire, because there are unsafe areas that the Americans don’t control, and there is loss of American lives. In America there are many unsafe areas in major cities that are beyond law enforcement control and where murder is rampant. Would you say the War on Poverty is a quagmire and should we stop funding it and let the taxpayers have their money back?
3. If you truly grieve for the loss of our soldiers in Iraq and you aren’t just using them for political advantage as pawns, then why do never say anything about the two hundred law enforcement officers (on average) that die yearly in the United States? How many police funerals have you attended as an elected official?
4. You have stated that companies that build overseas factories are traitors to America. Do you consider your wife a traitor since Heinz has 57 overseas factories? Or, are you going to stick to the story that a speechwriter erred and is a ''son of a bitch'' just like the Secret Service Agent that knocked you down when you were skiing?
5. You have said that Donald Rumsfeld is ultimately responsible, along with George Bush, and both should resign over the abuse of POW’s in Iraq. You have also admitted to doing much worse in Viet Nam, yet you say you are qualified to become president. Can you explain that tortured logic in greater detail?
6. Since the French, Germans, and Kofi Anon were illegally making billions of dollars in the Iraq oil-for-food program, it’s obvious why they didn’t want us to go to war, as it would stop the program. In order to undergo this program, the United Nations had to ignore human rights violations, murders, and corruption within Iraq. Given these facts why do you still want them in charge of the Iraq War, or even a partner to it?
7. Ted Kennedy compared the Saddam Hussein regime of rape, terror, corruption, and political fondling of the French to the prisoner abuse in Iraq. He said, in essence, that now that Hussein is gone, the only thing that has changed is Bush has been substituted for Hussein. Would you agree with your fellow senator on that and do you agree with the United Nations that children should still be imprisoned in Iraq?
8. Libya has been open about the production of weapons of mass destruction, and has allowed international inspections. This has come about only because of our interdiction in Iran. Do you consider this as a failure of the Bush administration?
9. Since you brand the war in Iraq as a failure, when is the last time you’ve traveled to Iraq and inspected for yourself? Can you tell me exactly the percentage of houses in Iraq that have electricity, fresh water, and telephones before and after the Hussein regime?
10. When exactly are you going to give the details of the plan you have for bringing the terrorists to justice, your plan to better the economy, and your plan to create international consensus for fighting terror?
