Cross Match has just announced a full hand reader to compete with IDXs 3000. It is apparent that they used the protests to buy time to develop the new machine. However, it has not been tried and trued so they may be a tad late to the table. I think IDX would have a lot of clout on this one.

Further IDX has a patented non smudge glass. I wonder if they got around that also.
