Ron, there's no way that the Crossmatch protests would help them with US VISIT business regarding their new product, but they should become competitive again out there with the states and the locals. I'm not as impressed with the curved platen as perhaps I should be -- if it is hard for a flat tenprinter to pick up the sole of the palmprint, how often are palmprint soles left on other flat surfaces as latent prints?

Nonetheless, Crossmatch is trying to slug it out toe-to-toe with Identix for the AFIS market, and you have to at least respect them for trying. Much of Identix' other competitors are moving away into safer niche markets.
