Come on brushwud, everybody knows the employment situation in technology isn't that great.

You come on. You said, "most software people are still out of work". To me, "most" means more than half, as if more software people are out of work than are not. The link you gave asked for a login, so I couldn't read it. But to say most software people are out of work sounds like an exaggeration to me, or else purely anecdotal, like maybe on your street or something.
