I have yet to live through a big gap down, but perhaps when I do I will be converted to your style of day trading. I was a sad man yesterday, but today HTCH, INVX and CREAF preformed well and I'm almost back to normal. I'm holding all three overnight. I have to hand it to you, though- I could never eek by through pure daytrading. I just don't think I'm good enough with intraday movements. I look more at momentum, hot sectors, investor psychology, volume and some simple TA (Bollinger Bands, MAs, RSI & Stoch.) SI is an essential element of my success. I also love quote.com's "recent news from all sources" which I refer to ever 15 min and occasionally get a good jump on something from. I'm mulling over a short on VIAS now. If DDs continue to be hot, will the fabled short squeeze on APM come about?
