In Muslim extremist societies violent, painful public executions are a regular event.

There are many forms including beheadings by knife, wrapping victims in sheets and burying them to the hips then having the village stone them to death...often couples are stoned together, lashing the victim to a stake then cutting out the tongue and letting them bleed to death, impailing of homosexuals to the death, letting animals tear humans to pieces, occasionally someone will get lucky and be publicly shot to death.
Most of this is down in public with the neighborhood participating.

Some of the more serious crimes include losing your virginity before marriage, homosexuality and adultery. The typical punishment for a father who kills his own daughter to restore family honor is six months or less imprisonment (if he gets caught.).

The extremists are also prone to have forceful sex with virgins and married women creating a continuous pool of folks to be executed.

We have much work to do.
