This is World War IV -- a war against fundamentalist Islamic Jihadists and terrorists. These are the people we are fighting. They are vicious relentless Muslim animals who will not stop killing innocent Americans and who will not abandon their dream of a world dominated by Islam until they are utterly and completely destroyed. These are people without a conscious who believe that the way to redeem their honor is to brutally slaughter innocent human beings, and this they do in the name of their god.

Try these changes:

LOOK AT THE PICTURES OF THOSE BEATEN TO DEATH AND TORTURED WHILE HELPLESS AND IMPRISONED. This is World War IV -- a war against fundamentalist CHRISTIAN INVADERS AND TORTURERS. These are the people we are fighting. They are vicious relentless INFIDEL CHRISTIAN animals who will not stop killing innocent IRAQIS AND MUSLIMS and who will not abandon their dream of a world dominated by CHRISTIANITY AND DEMOCRACY until they are utterly and completely destroyed. These are people without a conscious who believe that the way to redeem their honor is to brutally TORTURE AND slaughter innocent human beings, and this they do in the name of their god.

Actually, I think the second argument is a little more powerful because the acts there were done BY those officially employed by the American government while any friggen outfit with a few assholes can buy a camera and cut someone's head off.

This kind of "we're the good guys and they're evil incarnated" has a lot of holes in it. It especially leaks when the author tries to lay the actions of a few on the many. We have many differences of opinion, of culture and of politics with the Muslim world but they are not, because of those differences, the bogeyman that some radicals would have us believe.

Sometimes I wonder if you have any idea that you're being manipulated into a blind hatred of all things Muslim?
