There are comparisons if you state that all evil acts are comparable. Sort of a truism.
Comparisons envision and include degrees. I don't think you can compare the systematic abuse, torture, mutilation, subjugation, experimentation, killing, raping to the Nazis, in scope, in efficiency, or on any other rational basis, do you?
There really is no comparison. That's not to defend horrid actions by Iraqis, by Saddam or by US troops. I just find it interesting how people are so quick to compare something to the Nazis. |
