if we look at the report, we can see that a good number of senior NCOs and junior officers were interviewed

Screw the report. We are now being fed BS imo.

The chain of command does not go from private and low ranking NCO to 2 star general to Undersecretary of The Army. That is not how it works, yet that is what is being portrayed to us.

Too many steps in the chain are being excluded.
And what about records. Surely there are records of who was on duty when. Which Lt and which Captain were there? Which Colonel was in charge when.

Time line is the key and we can develop that easily. Digital cameras have a date stamp. The photos were computerized and e-mailed. All of that creates time lines that can be used to establish which officers were where and when. Plus every unit uses a duty roster...surely they available from the 1st Sergeants and Sergeant Majors.

Finally we have to get to the civilian interrogators. They too should have time records of their work.
The six court-martials should not take place unless the civilians can be interrogated and be called by the defense as witnesses.

It seems so elementary to me. But none of this has been presented at least not yet.

One good thing is that 8 officers have only received letters of reprimand. That is career killing move that will not exempt them from court martial later...like an Article 15 punishment would have.

The final straw to me is a report that I read that a three star had visited and found nothing amiss. What a joke. Troops can hide an elephant in 30 seconds. Besides it is highly unlikely that he spoke the inmates language. So what was he thinking? Did he expect his own troops would report what they were doing wrong?

We are seeing privates, stars, undersecretaries, and the SecDef. Nobody has any answers. I know where they are. The missing parts of the chain of command and the civilian interrogators have all of them.
