Yup. A bunch of 'em. The good news is that it's starting a run up. The bad news is that today put me back to break-even. Kinda reminds me of a story that you in particular will appreciate.....
A man who had been in a terrible auto accident is rushed to the hospital. After a thorough examination and extensive consult, the emergency room physician comes over to the patient's bed. "I'm sorry to tell you that your leg is badly crushed" said the doctor. "If we don't amputate right away, there is a good change you'll get gangrene and die."
"Well, if those are my only two options, I'll have to give up the leg" said the man, and he was whisked away to the operating room.
Several hours later, he regained consciousness in the recovery room. He immediately summoned a doctor and asked him the status of his medical condition.
The doctor replied, "Well sir, I'm afraid that I have some good news for you and some bad news for you. What would you like to hear first?"
"Oh shit", said the man, "I don't like the sounds of this. You better give me the bad news first."
The doctor replied, "Due to the urgency of your condition, we, um, well, we accidently cut off the wrong leg."
"Oh my God", screamed the man, "What is the good news?"
The doctor reassuringly told him, "We think we can save your other leg!" |
