I do not know of such links, but in Iran the mass is shocked (of course this is the same mass that hates their Islamic government and have come to hate their religion Islam - especially the young generation). In other countries I do not know.

But to put things into perspectives... A few years back the Islamic Republic of Iran's representative at the United Nation was caught shop lifting at one of the stores in N.Y. He of course got away because of his Diplomatic immunity status. However his logic when interviewed was he stole not because he needed it (he is a multi million dollar guy)... but he stole because he thought he was stealing from a non-Mulsim, and hence in his view that was not only NOT a sin but in fact something great he did for his image of god and heaven! :(

Not to say that all Muslims feel the same, but you can imagine the extremists (or those who consider themselves very Muslim and religious) feel about things...
