There is a general misconception on the part of some anti-Kerry posters that those of us who support Kerry "root for bad news". This is not true.

I expect bad news because Bush is obviously inept. There is a huge difference between wanting bad news (I don't) and expecting bad news (I do). I shudder at having to endure Bush for another 8 ½ months.

However, I remain an optimist.

I believe America is a strong and resilient country based on the rule of law.

I am optimistic that when America is "Under New Management" next January, that we can start the healing process.

I am optimistic that President John Kerry will unite America, rejoin the World, and lead us all to a brighter future.

The pessimists support Bush. Everyone agrees that he is inept and has repeatedly blundered. Everyone agrees that he is profligate in his spending. Many believe that Bush's policies have led to serious economic imbalances. Only a pessimist could believe that Kerry will not be a better President.

Since I am an optimist, I support John Kerry!
