America will be under no obligation to continue pursuing George Bush's mistakes after he is gone. Blunders do not need to be justified by further mindless support.

I have no doubt that he would like to engage our nation in any number of additional wars without reason during the next seven months, but there's little reason to believe any other nations would blindly follow him after Bush gave them the Weapons of Mass Destruction lie over Iraq.

While Afghanistan was entirely justified, Bush's invasion of Iraq has seriously damaged America's credibility internationally, even though a number of zealots remain here at home. If a real problem develops, the President who cried wolf stands a good chance of learning the meaning of this fable first hand.

Fool us once, shame on you -- Fool us twice, shame on us.
