Thanks for the reply.
Immunex is also doing a phase III trial that compares Enbrel vs. methotrexate and placebo. The company is still recuiting patients for this phase III trial. I don't really understand why they are doing several phase III trials one after another. Clinical trials have high costs.

Sam --- If I recall correctly, I think 245 patients are enrolled in the phase III trials
(there were 180 in phase II). Its a double blind test of Enbrel versus a placebo.
Because it is double blind, there is no way of knowing what the outcome will be
until it unblinds this Fall.
