I think you would find it difficult to prove that I am Bush supporter. Especially since I have come out on this thread and stated definitively that I am *not*. However, things were screwed up long before Bush took office and the screwing can be laid at the feet of republicans, democrats and the leaders of the ME countries who shun taking any responsibility for their own situation.

On that we can agree. However, IMO Bush has made things much worse.

You are the one that put the beheading of Nick Berg at Rumsfeld's feet for what happened at the iraqi prison. You made the connection between those events and al Qaeda.

I didn't make the connection......it was in the news. The guy who pulled the knife is a Jordanian who has his own terrorist cell in N. Iraq and is considered an al Qaeda operative. It was al Qaeda that killed Berg. They are evil.

And what do you think my agenda is? Again, I have stated on this thread, without qualification, that I am anti-Bush.

I had thought your agenda was that we can do no wrong and everyone is at fault for our problems. If I'm wrong, I apologize. However, I am tired of this monolithic approach to everything foreign where we cry victim anytime something bad happens. Like you said early, we've made some mistakes that have lead us to this current mess.

I see that you didn't want to really address what I was alluding to with the claiming of SA as a holy land. In one of your posts you used that as justification for why the terrorists hate us.

I got what you're alluding to....what do you want me to say? When has an eye for eye ever got anyone anywhere. Besides, do we punish the Saudis because OBL [a Yemen extremist] recruited Saudis to fly planes into the WTC? Every country has its extremist idiots. Do we blow up Buffalo, NY because that's where Timothy McVeigh was from?

Your ability to use logic in an argument is somewhere near nil.

Sorry, dude, there is nothing you can say that's going to upset me. Its too easy for people on SI to call each other names just because they don't agree with each other.
