Yes I have been wondering why the effect of strong commodity prices and lower Canadian dollar receives so little attention. The energy trusts get analyzed to death with regard to the minutiae in their financial statements, but the big picture is ignored. I also think I have detected a major misunderstanding by the talking heads over the meaning of "peak oil". I believe they have it as "peak oil price", which explains a lot.
