The Press is almost completely caught up in the negative aspects of the war and the daily sensationalism.

Plus eternal news about the Elections or candidates.

Nearly all the good that has come about or will come about
is ignored.

Saddam did not manage to blow up all the oil wells and refineries, so Iraq oil production is coming back.
With that the Saudis will not have the option to increase prices.

Reporters are assigned to the few troubled cities(where the sensational action is), while the relative peace and progress in hundreds of other places are just being ignored.

So I assume it is not considered important by the Press that thousands of Iraqis are no longer getting tortured, murdered, and dumped in unmarked graves by the old Baathist regime.

For the first time in 20 or 30 years, foreigners (over a million) were able to visit the Holy shrines in Iraq.
And most returned home safely. Means nothing to me,but its important to them.

Has any reporter shown us a reconstructed school with the kids in class.?
How about a working hospital with new equipment and adequate supplies ?

Apparently they do not have any kind of sports in Iraq- no soccer, no swimming, no races. No cock fights, no dog fights, no gambling, no drinking. And who wants to have sex with someone wrapped in a blanket ?

TV sets tuned to Al Jazeera saying how bad the invaders are.

Seems like a damned strange place to me, but my only education comes from watching TV or reading the SI Threads.

And I know they are both lying (by exclusion)
