Yeah, I'm still around, but it sure is hard to stay in the house in the summertime, eh? Stocks just don't seem all that important, really. Anyway, more and more I like cash, I was trading off bank stock a while ago (had to take a capital gains hit to do that) and now the banks (one anyway-CM) are back at what I thought would be my buy level, but something keeps me from biting.
I picked up a few more IMT, and a very few more HBP, am watching BNC but haven't bought back in yet, still have a full load of NVN, the only biobaby winner I have this summer is XLX. They're all cheap, but it just feels good to have a little cash in the account. More and more I watch the Dow and the tech stocks and get nervous. I have never shorted a stock in my life, but maybe it's time to learn. Do you know the "Big Kahuna" thread? Just for a laugh, compare it with the Dell thread....<g>... Dell looks like a great short to me....

Today the Dow was up, but the small-caps were up more. The best we can hope for with the biobabies is that money comes slowly out of the big caps looking for better value. If it comes out too fast, everything will go down with it. Of course, any one of these could have a seriously happy story to tell any day, you never know.....
Take it easy......marcos
