I'm still puzzled as to what prompted those two to
get on their high horses of self-righteous indignation.

They both have posted to the effect that we're creating
terrorists in Iraq. Tejek actually said that Rumsfeld
was to blame for Berg's execution.

Given those kinds of statements, I engaged them on
how they explained terrorism BEFORE the invasion of Iraq.

Tejek evidently doesn't understand how these topics relate
to your post of yesterday concerning the difference in
media coverage and public outrage of the Berg execution,
burning of bodies of dead contractors, etc. vis a vis
prisoner abuse scandal.

It is all related because we have a tendency to
blame ourselves for everything first and
not to put things into the proper perspective.
Ironically, that's exactly what I was posting about
over at that other thread.

For Ted's benefit, should he be lurking:

The link between the topics is your notion
that we're creating more terrorists due to the action in Iraq and that therefore we are to blame for "retaliation" like the Berg execution. That POV is echoed in the differential treatment in the media, where the prisoner abuse scandal is given more play than atrocities like the Berg execution.

I guess Ted's unable to follow the logical progression
of a topic or comments that he makes.
