I believe in most things moderate except when there is a crisis like the one we have in energy now. We really do need to finally start getting off oil and gasoline. It's going to take a long time but the jobs needs to be done. IMHo that should be a bi-partisan issue but since the GOP has been hijacked by Big Oil, it's very partisan. Perhaps once the Bushies are out of power, the GOP under McCain or someone else, will agree this needs to be done.

We also have a fiscal crisis now. Such huge debts that major spending cuts are necessary, including in defense. But the only way we can cut defense is to make peace first.
