How, then, should I process claims that all the bias is on the left? That ask for proof of bias on the right.

Use their "we are an unbiased source of news" claim as your divider. Fox is biased right, WSJ is not in their news, even JohnM agrees with that.

The Right really doesn't have any large source of news output available to them. Cable, talk radio, are really minor when you look at the stats. I read the TV ratings for last week. The top cable show, Sopranos, had a "5" rating compared to the Nets at 18 to 23.

I mentioned early in the week that I thought La Toya was too cold. This is a popularity contest about a "Pop" singer. Now Jasmine will get the same national treatment that our red headed young man got. The "Ohana" attitude here in the Islands really scorched the exchanges at the phone companies to keep her in it. She is a Goddess here.

Jasmine Trias, "American Idol" finalist who is home for an overnight visit, will make a public appearance from 4 to 5 p.m. today at Tower Records on Ke'eaumoku Street.
Hawai'i's "Idol" hopeful advanced to next week's final three round. Joining her in the finals are Diana DeGarmo and Fantasia Barrino.

As previously announced, Trias also will meet with Lt. Gov. Duke Aiona to receive a proclamation this afternoon at the State Capitol. She will be taping new footage for "American Idol," with another public appearance — a torchlighting ceremony at about 6:30 p.m. tomorrow in Waikiki.

She is to return tomorrow night to Hollywood to resume preparations for the next round of "Idol" competition.
