Being a British-born Canadian, this is one side of the US I was unaware of. This ideological rift between the voters in Britain, Australia and Canada, to name a few, is bound to put significant pressure on their leaders as they run for reelection. Blair, and Howard this fall and Martin, expected for June. Some of America's closest 'friends' may soon join our recent enemies (Germany, France).
