You are simply splitting hairs. The USA is fighting the War on Terror because Islamic Fundamentalists declared war on us Sept 11, 2001. Your picayune details are footnotes to that issue.

Picayune? Hardly. At least half a million to a million Muslims died in the Iraqi/Iranian war. During that time, we were providing Saddam with assorted WMDs as well as regular military equipment.

I hardly think Muslims see that involvement on our part as picayune.

Do you Primary question is do we defeat al Qaeda ASAP or allow them to become an even more powerful terroristic force in the future?

If we are trying to defeat al Qaeda, why are we in Iraq? The only quasi al Qaeda cell was in Kurd country in the north.........and they were fairly weak.

You don't fight an enemy without a sovereign nation and who lives underground with a standing army. That's as basic as 1,2,3.

A vote for GW Bush means you want to defeat terrorism & believe we should get on with the job....a vote for John Kerry translates into support for a prolonged struggle with terrorists throughout our childrens' lifetime.

A vote for GW Bush means alienating our allies, running up the deficit, cutting taxes to the wealthy, starting pre emptive wars, misleading the public and not knowing what to do from one day to the next.

I've seen what Bush is doing to my country and I will do everything I can to get him out of office come this November. And lady, if you think I'm foolin' think again!
