Interesting, I have noticed a brightening trend over the past few years, starting around 1996 or so, but nobody else but me seemed to notice it. I'd have kept records but no idea how so just mentioned it from time to time, to noncomprehending looks.
But then, nobody noticed that the crows were back nor seem to have noticed that they're gone again, same deal, I used to mention the crows to people and get non-comprehending looks, so I just gave it up.
At any rate, my guess is that the world is again, quite literally, a brighter place, at least the US mid-Atlantic coastal region. Lots of sunshine, also quite a bit of rain the past couple of years washes the air very clean. |
