I don't see anything in that link about "a tape in Al Qaeda's name". Please highlight that for me.

I do see a specific reference to the fact that he is not Al Qaeda:

Bruce Hoffman, a terrorism expert at the Rand Corporation think tank, said he believed al-Zarqawi was after power.

“He is not competing with al-Qaida, but he’s emulating it,” he said.
