In the past when she and the neighbor went to the plant place they took my Jeep. Yesterday they took her Outback and had plenty of room. I had thought about a scooter for going to the coffee shop each day. 6 mile round trip with only 3 stops. I drive slow and coast up to the stops and get 18 mpg with the Jeep. Between rain and cold I'd probably only be able to use a scooter about 1/2 of the time. Doesn't seem worth getting one.
