Yes, torture is common. Are you saying torture is a good thing? If someone in your family was tortured, that would be just fine with you? 80% of Iraqis in Abu Ghraib are innocent. Their families are supposed to just shrug it off because idiots like longnshort think torture is ok? You're saying saddam's torture of Iraqi's was ok too? I thought the reason to get rid of Saddam was to end his killing and torturing. So with the US killing Iraqis faster than he did and continuing torture, what WAS the reason for removing saddam? Is it just fine with you that the entire world will now teach their children in history classes for years to come that the US represents torture? Do you think torturing people makes LESS enemies? Does shrub now have to say, "They hate us for our free...umm, torture."
