<<Are you suggesting that we equate ourselves and compare our actions with those of barbarians?>>

I said nothing of the sort.

<<If not, then why the comparison on how the world would react if we sawed somebody's head off and showed it on TV.>>

Because it shows media bias. Our media and our people would have gone nuts if that was an American cutting the head off an Iraqi. But because the media and democrats want to grant Iraqi's victim status the beheading of an American becomes less outrageous because in their messed up minds we somehow deserve it.

<<Is it that you are trying to look for opportunities to say "we are better than barbarians?">>

Chinu - we've made some bad mistakes. In the same way that Kerry burned civilians out of grass huts, when you have 18-25 year olds watching over things you can pretty much count on bad decisions being made from time to time. Since I don't know everything we did to prisoners I can't say for sure how bad things got - nor can you. But beheading a person and releasing a tape of that action is beyond belief. No matter who did it its wrong. Nothing can justify that action. If you can't see that then you need some serious help
