Exactly what did the dad mean when he said his son what the terrorists "best friend"?

Very revealing. I took it to mean he was anti-war. The prior incident with Al Qaeda leaves it open to even more question. Don't forget the anti-war Japanese protesters who went there and were supposed to be "hostages."
