Too many breeding places plus they won't allow use of any poisons in areas where it can wind up in lakes, streams and rivers.

I am not getting though to you. DDT is totally harmless to people. You can make a slurry and drink the stuff. It was considered the greatest boon to mankind around during WWII.

When it is allowed again, it probably won't be of used to stop Birds from getting West Nile. The way it is used today is that it is sprayed around houses. They used to spray everything with it.
