Forum Question - why are we seeing simultaneous Israeli attacks in Occupied Gaza - where they will be demolishing hundreds of homes, according to the BBC - in an area they say they are leaving

AND

The US attacking in Najaf, Occupied Iraq - which is frought with many severe pitfalls - not the least of which is more damage to holy sites - and then a general uprising and bloodbath in Occupied Iraq.

Why now? Why the escalation right now - with oil going past $ 40 a barrel??
