What matters is Bush lied about going AWOL in 1972, never reported for duty (technically AWOL desertion) and that he calls himself a "war president" posing with troops and putting on a flight suit to pretend he's a jet jockey on the air-craft carrier. Bush has been asking for it on this issue. Kerry on the other hand is the real thing and has a perfect right to state that he is a decorated combat veteran.

Remember, guys like Howard Dean have openly admitted they sought to dodge the draft. Cheney and Delay also admitted it. So why doesn't Bush just tell the truth? That's the only issue here. WHy does he have to keep lying and lying? Otherwise, we could care less if he sloughed off and used his family name to avoid combat. That was typical in those days and frankly I would have done the same thing in his shoes.

Now let's get back to real issues. We already know Bush is a rich kid BS artist.
