I don't think what happened 35 years ago makes him a better candidate Your in total denial. What happened does matter - it goes to the question of character. Bush weaseled his way out of 'Nam but has no problem sending other people's children off to die in some cockamamie war in the middle east that has spun badly out of control. Bush talks tough "bring em on" but was passed out at the country club bar while Kerry was "takin' care of business"
