Well, for all intents & purposes, they are being withheld.
At most a half million or so Americans had their TV on
when the tapes were shown on Fox. Almost every other media
outlet has not shown them or even bothered to mention they
exist.

They have almost dropped the Nick Berg video. Heck, they
never played it. They showed some stills of him sitting in
a chair. If it weren't for the strange Al Qaeda
connections, it would be out of the public eye.

However, the Abu Ghraib scandal is still going strong 24/7
on every media outlet.

Once again the only commonality is that shocking acts that
hurt Bush & help the anti-war crowd have an extremely long
shelf life & absolutely horrific crimes against humanity
that help Bush & hurt the anti-war crowd aren't very
newsworthy to the liberal media.
