Time for Republicans to cleanse their party of the extreme rightwing neocons in charge. The GOP used to be a good party, but the least honest and most corrupt parts of the Republican base have gradually allied and taken over. In 2000, Bush ran as a moderate, honest conservative. That was a big lie. He and his people basically hoodwinked everyone. We were all surprised as the Bush family used to be moderate and not in bed with every sleazy, greedy, sneaky faction on the far right industrial-oil-military complex.

I suppose we should have seen it coming though after they attempted to assassinate the character of Clinton. It started with Whitewater which was supposed to be about a minor land deal, but went straight into Clinton's bedroom which was their plan all along it seems. That was the first part of the far right's coup d'etat. The second part was to fool voters in 2000 and also to cheat, both using voter fraud and the phony energy crisis. And all along their #1 goal was to invade Iraq. Why? Primarily the oil. That is what Teddy Kennedy meant by "a plot hatched in Texas". That's exactly what it was.
