At least most of us agree that what went on there was depraved. Guess we still have a shred of decency left.

Oh, is that the latest spin? Last time I was here, conservatives were arguing that Abu Ghraib was nothing more serious than a frat hazing - that the soldiers were just letting off steam, and that the victims should apply for NEA grants.

The day before that, it was that the victims were tantamount to senior Al Qaeda operatives, and the victimizers similar to the IDF blowing up Hamas leaders in the middle of the night.
