I can understand why you say claim that his family wasn't from the money side of the Forbes family. But the fact is, he did benefit tremendously from the Forbes Family Fortune. That a wealthy aunt took upon herself to pay for the education of Senator Kerry, meant that the Senator's father could work for the foreign service - instead of a higher paying private sector job (that he could easily have gotten through family connections). Did a rich aunt from the Disney family pay for your boarding school, and tuition at your ivy league college?

I have read that Kerry inherited somewhere between $300,000 and $1,600,000 from his mother (in Forbes and Winthrop family trusts). Nothing wrong with that, except it makes your claims on the Senator's wealth suspect.

re:"Kerry is not from the $$ side of the Forbes family. He inherited almost nothing and his parents couldn't even afford to send him to private schools."
