Very suspicious unconfirmed "facts" about Berg:

Nick Berg was a telecommunications contractor who went into Iraq to "help". But he and his family were not unknown to US authorities.

On March 7, 2004, an 'enemies' list of anti-war groups and individuals was posted on the rightwing Free Republic.

Among those listed was this entry: "Michael S. Berg, Teacher, Prometheus Methods Tower Service, Inc." That's Nick Berg's father, Michael who acts as business manager for his son in their family radio communications firm, Prometheus Methods Tower Service. Berg's father was on TV yesterday blaming his son's death on "Bush's war". Clearly this is a leftwing radical, and since when do sons have the polar opposite politics as the father?

Just days after "Michael Berg" and "Prometheus Methods Tower Service" had come up on that Iraq war 'enemies' list, his son Nick Berg returned to Iraq under the business name of Prometheus Methods Tower Service.

Nick claimed to have been looking for a job but what sane person would just show up in Iraq like that. And why was he in Israel right before that? Further, why did he have a copy of the Koran with him and a book about "The Jewish Problem" or something? (especially since he's Jewish)

Nick was detained, first by Iraqi police, then for 13 days by the United States military in Iraq. He was in US custody and admittedly questioned by the FBI 3 separate times. They would not release him nor press charges nor let him speak to an attorney.

He was deemed a "terrorist sympathizer" and detained in a US orange jumpsuit (like those in Guantanamo) and put in a cell with Syrians and Iraqis.

This is logical since Berg had been under FBI investigation for the 19th hijacker having his email address. His father explained this as an accident, but Berg was also know to befriend Arab students at his university. Then he went on to work in Uganda and Kenya, two Al Qaida hotbeds.

* Some of these fatcs are off unbknown websites, but at the very least, all of this is very suspicious and we should not believe what we are being told by the media, Berg's father and the government until we know more. One thing about the internet, all the dirt is bound to come out, though you have to separate BS from facts which can often be difficult.

The fact he was wearing an orange jumpsuit is very scary. Shouldn't that mean he was in US (not Al Qaida) custody at the time? Who else would be wearing a US prisoner's jumpsuit? The ramifications are truly horrifying, and for different reasons than we might think of at first. Much worse reasons.
