Because I don't believe Dick Cheney gives a damn about the jews. He cares about the oil. Wolfowitz may have a different agenda. Rightwing Israelis certainly wanted the Iraq war. My real question is how all of this started. Three men ran the Gulf War and two of them agreed Iraq should not be invaded. Maybe Cheney was the only one who disagreed. As CEO of Halliburton he would certainly drool over the prospect of owning the Iraqi fields. I have always seen Bush as a frontman for someone else so I don't think he dreamt up any of this. He just sells it. BTW: All this is just going to make the election battle more ugly. Very-very-very ugly. The mud, smoke and lies from the rightwing have just begun. Notice too they keep on raising money.
