I n the entire post 2nd world war history of Middle East ‘the crescent of crisis’ as we term it here, we never had so many wiling allies within the Islamic governments to go after the radical Islamic extremists. If the policy of ‘few stray smart bombs on the mud huts’ under Clinton would have continued none of this cajoling would have brought the alliance of the most die hard supporters of Taliban to change sides, this is the collateral benefit that these neo cons have achieved, how do you price it, limited minds cannot do it, it is not something that can be quantified but as I said before these very people being killed would be prospective graduate students and harbingers of exporting terror.
