What can they do? Use the Berg murder for starters. But Iraq looks like it will only get worse until Kerry takes over. The economy? Inflation starting up, gas prices horrendous, jobs growth too late and interest rates about to rise which will queer the stock market a bit.

Bush is highly vulnerabvle on all other domestic issues and is even vulnerable on 9-11. His NYC convention may turn to be an embarrassment instead of a crowning moment. Both police and firemen may be picketing him.
