The Associated Press and Zell Miller
Polipundit

My jaw nearly dropped when I read the AP's "reporting" of a recent speech by Zell Miller; in which they referred to the sitting U.S. Senator, former two-term Governor, and combat veteran, as an "attack dog" for the President.

Hmm.

Gee, I don't quite remember the AP referring to Terry ("Global Crossing") McAuliffe as an "attack dog" for John Kerry; when the former implied that the President was A.W.O.L.

And I don't remember them referring to Ted ("Chappaquiddick") Kennedy as an "attack dog," when Whiskey Ted seemed to be having flashbacks to 1968, with regard to the current operation in Iraq.

And I don't remember them referring to Bob ("Hatchet Man") Mulholland as an "attack dog," when he basically called Arnold Schwartzenegger a Nazi, during the recent California Recall campaign.

I guess Senator Miller committed the ultimate sin in the eyes of the AP. My God, he's actually a supporter -- gasp! -- of the President of the United States of America. Why, the horror!
