Russ, my next door neighbor (enormous house just built in last 3 months) sells aluminum. I asked him what happens when China slows. His response was "I hope they do".

I asked him why and he said "everything is going over there but we need it here" (or something to that effect). I asked if he could not get enough aluminum at a good price and he said "I can not get enough at any price"

He was bitching that the Aluminum makers would not bring back workers to meet demand.

This conversation was from today when I saw him in his yard and asked to borrow a tool (he could not find it, still packed away).
