Some conservative Republicans are worried Pulitzer Prize winning Seymour Hersh may have "the goods"...

<<...If it turns out to be true, Bush is done. I wouldn't vote for him, might work against him, depending on how high up it went.

There's simply no way to know at the present time. Unfortunately, what he's written is plausible.

When intelligent people say things like "in the event of another attack like 9/11 we need to remove all Muslim Arabs from the US" and other intelligent people saying like "the only thing Arabs understand is superior force" -- sadly, what Hersh outlines is plausible...>>

_______________

AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE BUSH's MISMANAGEMENT OF THE TRAGIC ADVENTURE OVER IN IRAQ WILL BE HIS DOWNFALL...the events continue to spiral out of control...Bush likes to "stay the course" and see things in "black and white" terms...always trusts his advisors and never likes to read much or worry about the details or grey areas...Dubya relys on his "gut feelings" BUT he failed to verify the NeoCON claims about the wisdom of attacking Iraq...Why didn't he ever SERIOUSLY CONSULT with his Secretary of State (Colin Powell) before making the decision to attack Iraq...? Why did he assume that Rumsfeld would make wise and appropriate decisions about how to occupy an Arab country like Iraq...? Why did Bush totally ignore "the Realists" (like University of Chicago's John Mearsheimer) who repeatedly said that "vigilant containment of Saddam" would be the safest course for the United States to follow -- Mearsheimer contended that by attacking Iraq we would be stirring up a hornets nest and fueling more terrorism ---> LOOK WHAT'S HAPPENED...Does Mr. Bush feel like he really did his homework and fully explored the implications of attacking Iraq and occupying an Arab country...? Were all diplomatic alternatives exhausted...? Was there really an "imminent threat" coming from Iraq that required the United States to sacrifice hundreds of lives and well over one hundred billion tax dollars...? Was the intelligence hyped in order to justify a rush into an elective war...? ANY ONE THINK WE HAVE A PRESIDENT WHO MAY BE IN WAY OVER HIS HEAD...?
