I forget which one of the Great Lakes, but about 5 years ago there was a large number of vehicles on the ice and the sheet broke loose and drifted free. The marooned people on the ice had to be air-lifted off. I don't think any of the vehicles were saved, but there was a lot of them. I saw the picture.
