Mana, We agree in general and probably disagree on the specifics. The Cubans were fleeing to America before Castro ever came on the scene. How else do you explain Desi Arnaz and Xavier Cugat? A poor country is a poor country. A rich one is a rich one. We are fortunate that we have huge resources and, historically, isolation from other world powers. Both of those factors are fading fast.
