The portfolio is MINE? !! I thought that my role was that of your record updater. Anyway, if I understand correctly, you want me to sell all the TLRK, which will give the portfolio around $215,000 in cash, total. Then I'm supposed to buy some ARQL, EXEL, and MYGN. How much of each should I buy?

One suggestion (and it's only a suggestion) I might make would be in the realm of TA. I was thinking that maybe we should only buy a stock when it's in an uptrend or has broken a downtrend, e.g. it's above, say, its 24 day exponential moving average. ELN comes to mind as a lesson, which would have worked out better if one had waited and not bought on the first gap down.

Gary B. Smith from TheStreet.com makes a living in part by shorting stocks that have huge gaps down, scalping 5% more downside, which he claims works at least 2/3 of the time. So when a stock shows up on "biotech firesale" thread, I always figure it won't just bounce back but will go lower and then consolidate before it starts back up.

I wonder what the experience of others is in this regard-- or should I forget about using TA and leave that to Jicaboa? "<g>, to quote Jicaboa!"

Anyway, I await instructions, Fearless Leader (a reference to Rocky and His Friends for non-US 60s TV viewers).
