Your definition of imperialism omits the fact that Israel is involved in the occuppied territories after two spirited invasion of its territory. So who has imperialist aspirations? Those who call for Israel's destruction or Israel which, if you open your eyes, is fighting for survival against an Arab world beligerance.

The last invasion occurred in 1973. That's over 30 years ago. Israel shows no sign of vacating the occupied territories. Instead, they have been building settlements there at an increasing rate like its their new homeland. From where I hail that's called imperialism and I am stunned that you have the cojoñes to defend such behavior.

And your comment about a few jewish communities surviving doesn't wash against the reality of mass jewish expulsion in every quarter of the Arab world.

Really? Then you don't know the ME very well. There is a history of multiple religions in most ME countries because three important ones......Judaism, Islam and Christianity......began within 500 miles of each other there. In fact, originally, Muhammad had his followers pray each day in the direction of Jerusalem. Abraham is considered an important figure for both the Muslims and the Jews and its alleged that he built the cube in Mecca where the Muslims worship during their annual pilgrimages. All three religions believe in the one God.

So there are Jews and Christians everywhere in the ME. Granted their numbers are small but their communities do exist mostly in peace with the Muslims.
