Please don't indulge in your feigned sense of hurt and sarcasm. It does not become you.

You called Seymour Hersh - a highly respected and award winning reporter - a liar. I challenged that statement by providing you a couple of links that stated just the opposite. You then provided a response pertaining to an allegation by Hersh regarding the US/Israel taking action to neutralize Pakistan's nuclear capability under certain circumstances. You thought that this was lie because Bush denied it. I said that it seemed entirely credible given the US concern with WMD not falling in the hands of terrorists. I also said that neither you nor I would know for sure what the reality was on a matter of national security such as this.

You have made various remarks in several posts that I did not have an appreciation of the subtleties and geopolitical aspects of the Middle East and South Asia. I acknowledged that I was no expert but then went on to state the remark that appears in italics.

I was at all times polite in my exchanges with you and tried to maintain a civil discourse - even if we disagreed. If you intend on having a thread on politics in a public forum you must be willing to have people disagree and sometimes challenge you.

If you only want people who agree with you to participate on the thread that you host then you should just have a moderated thread to give you the control that you apparently seek.
